| Plarebel is a non-profit organisation that promotes the recycling of all plastic waste, but mainly acts as an expertise centre for FOST Plus with regard to the organisation of the collection and sorting, the recycling technologies, the material specifications, etc. for the different types of household plastic packaging waste. Regular contacts with and visits to sorting centres and recycling companies contribute to an efficient implementation of the recycling activities. |

- VAL-I-PAC aims at handling both the legal information obligation and the recycling and valorisation objectives for its members, as described in the Belgian packer/filler responsibility scheme (I.S.A.) for industrial packaging waste
- VAL-I-PAC is an initiative of private industries, representing 8000 companies.
- On 13 December 2001, VAL-I-PAC obtained renewed accreditation for the maximum period of 5 years (2002 - 2006).
